A mechanical watch is a watch that operates without a battery. Mechanical watches have long been the backbone of the Swiss watch industry. They are not quite as accurate as battery-powered quartz watches but are handmade and much more complex to build.
We ship the watches with a standard size watch strap. If you are not sure if the size will fit, let us know your wrist size and we can know if you need a shorter strap. We can have this made for you – possibly with an additional waiting time.
We sell our watches via our website. In Switzerland, it is also possible to contact us for a personal appointment.
By selling directly, we are able to offer exceptionally competitive prices for our high-quality Swiss products, which leaves us no room for multi-level distribution through a traditional dealer network. You can therefore rest assured that you will always receive our high-quality watches at the best possible price.
We provide a two-year guarantee on every watch from the date of purchase.
The warranty for your Piccola & Jofrette watch does not cover the following:
Yes, as long as the new owner has the original purchase documents such as the invoice and warranty card.
Local and international shipping is available to most countries in the world when you order products on our website. If, for any reason, shipping to your country of residence is exceptionally not possible, we will contact you for further action and immediately refund the full purchase price in case of non-delivery.
Please note, however, that you will have to import the watch yourself. In most countries this is a very smooth process. You only have to pay VAT or import tax. For more detailed clarification, please contact the local customs authorities.
We typically ship with Swiss Post International Priority.
Further information on shipping conditions can be found in our General Terms and Conditions under point 6.
We will notify you by e-mail that your order has been dispatched.
Yes, a tracking code will be sent to you by e-mail.
The courier needs your phone number so that they can contact you if they have any questions about your shipment. This will not be used for marketing purposes without permission and will not be passed on to third parties (other than the courier).
Each Piccola & Jofrette watch is shipped in a handmade wooden box, which also contains the warranty card. For postal delivery, the watch is also carefully packed in a shipping package together with the sales receipts.
You can return your order within 14 days of the date of dispatch. All items must be returned unworn, in their original packaging and with a completed returns form. After this period, we can no longer accept returns. Please contact us via the contact form before returning the watch.
Your payment is due when you check out in the webshop. If you would like to pay for your watch via bank transfer, this is possible against prepayment. As soon as we have booked your payment, we will contact you when we will ship your watch. Normally the watch will be delivered within 5 working days after completion of the watch.
Credit card, prepayment via bank transfer

Contact the Piccola & Jofrette team if you would like to have service and maintenance work carried out. You can use the contact form for service and repairs. Alternatively, you can contact a reputable watch technician who has experience with mechanical Swiss movements. However, maintenance and repairs carried out by a third party will invalidate the warranty.
Contact the Piccola & Jofrette team via the contact form if you need a repair.
Minor repairs and adjustments can usually be carried out by your local jeweler. For warranty cases or more complex repairs, you can send the watch to our headquarters in Switzerland.
